The W. P. Carey School's curriculum relies on team- and case-based learning. Class size never exceeds 50 students. One of the things W.P. Carey is best known for is their supply chain management program, which has been rated one of the best in the United States.  Students have access to Student Services who help students with administrative matters. Many co-curricular activities are offered to W.P Carey MBA students including clubs, professional organizations and student government.

Global electives allow W.P. Carey students to experience diverse cultures and economies in countries such as France and Spain, Thailand and Cambodia, India, Argentina or China. W.P Carey students can choose to explore potential careers or industries on an outreach trip where they visit companies such as Google, Chevron, Facebook, Neutrogena, HP and Visa. Students gain a firsthand understanding of how legislation informs business strategy through W.P. Carey's course in Washington, D.C. According to W.P. Carey staff, students say that these international programs, outreach trips and the Washington, D. C. program are the highlights of their graduate experience at the W. P. Carey School.

80% of W.P. Carey graduates have a job offer by graduation. Companies that recruit at W.P. Carey include: Apple, Bank of America, Chevron, Dell, Deloitte, Intel, Liberty Mutual, Raytheon and Monsanto. There are over 80,000 W.P. More than 55,000 students study at Arizona State University's Tempe, Arizona campus which includes The Sun Devils' athletic complex, performing arts facilities and high-tech research space. Downtown Phoenix is easily accessible via a light rail system.



MBA Programs

 

Full-time MBA Program

W.P. Carey's 21-month full-time MBA program offers a core business curriculum in conjunction with an in-depth specialization in one or more areas. On average, full-time MBA courses have less than 45 students.

 

Evening (Part-Time) MBA

W.P. Carey's 21- month part-time MBA program is designed for working professionals in metropolitan Phoenix who want to earn an MBA while maintaining their current jobs. The core business curriculum provides expertise in the functional areas of business with 40-plus unique electives, nine areas of emphasis and three technical certificates to choose from.

Executive MBA Program

W.P. Carey's 21-month EMBA program offers a general management curriculum for working professionals and executives with significant experience managing people, projects and budgets. EMBA classes meet twice a month on Fridays and Saturdays.

Online MBA Program

This 21-month online MBA program, delivered entirely via the Internet, is designed for busy career professionals, offering flexibility, convenience and an online degree from a top business school. The curriculum includes 36 hours of core courses and 12 hours of electives. The faculty, core curriclum, and several of the elective courses are the same across all of W.P. Carey's MBA programs. Students work in small, personalized teams with peers from other industries. Orientation is the only on-campus attendance requirement. Online content is delivered through the Blackboard course management system, which allows students to interact one-on-one or in groups or teams. Recorded video/audio and apps are used to capture materials for students who travel or who want flexibility in the repetition of information to meet their own learning styles. Online labs via publishers and simulations (based on course) are available for experiential learning.The W. P. Carey School is one of the few U.S. online MBA programs that allow you to earn your MBA degree with an area of emphasis in finance, international business, marketing, or supply chain management. The program has a 92.3% completion rate.

Custom Corporate MBA Program

W.P. Carey's Custom Corporate MBA program is geared toward companies seeking a flexible, custom-designed MBA for a select group of employees.

Shanghai Executive MBA Program

W.P. Carey's Shanghai EMBA program offers an MBA to executives from the top levels of China's economic and financial sectors. The academic program is the cornerstone of a number of new offerings that include knowledge transfer and access to the highest level of decision makers in China.
