The mission of the Merage School is to prepare students to become the kind of leader tomorrow’s businesses demand. The MBA program at the Merage School is designed to help students have a successful career at a growth-oriented firm.
Highlights of the Merage School's curriculum include:
- Sustainability and Competitive Advantage - a new course which allows students to learn about the challenges of addressing social and environmental sustainability from a strategic perspective

The Merage School's Experiential Learning project allows students to address real-life business challenges by contributing to an organization's bottom line. 14 countries are represented in the Merage School MBA program, with international students making up 35% of the student body. 30% of Merage School students are female. The average Merage student is 28 years old and has 4.77 years of work experience, a GMAT score of 668 and a GPA of 3.35.

In addition to business fundamentals, the Merage School's full-time MBA program emphasizes strategic innovation, technological literacy, and making smarter business decisions. Full-time MBA students can participate in internships and international study.
Specifically designed for working professionals, the Merage School's FEMBA program can be completed in 27 or 33 months, attending two classes per week. The FEMBA curriculum emphasizes strategic innovation, information technology, and analytic decision making.
Designed for professionals on an executive career path, the Merage School's Executive MBA Program lasts 21 and includes 12 core courses. In addition to Friday and Saturday classes, the Merage School's Executive MBA students must attend 3 off-campus residentials.
The Merage School's Health Care Executive MBA Program merges the medical and health care industries with business education in a learning environment designed specifically for healthcare professionals. Students will learn the fundamentals of management and a thorough understanding of the economic, political, and social dynamics that are reshaping the global health care industry.
The Merage School's MD/MBA program is designed for professionals seeking careers as physicians with key management roles in health care organizations. You must first be enrolled in the UC Irvine School of Medicine to be considered for admission. You can apply to the MBA program during your second or third year of studies.
The JD/MBA program is for professionals seeking careers in fields where law and management overlap and knowledge of both disciplines is advantageous. The Merage School's admissions staff recommends that you be enrolled in the UC Irvine Law School when applying for the dual degree.
