Prior to Sao Paulo, our team and partner schools travelled through Mexico, Colombia and Peru. James VanderMeer, Head of the Connect 121 events and MBA Admissions Expert, had this to say about the 10-day tour: “I’ve been coming to Latin American MBA events for 5 years, and you can see in 2012 that the quality of applicants is increasing. The attendees are much more aware of their options, the skills that they need to get into business school and the pressing need to find ways to finance their MBA. The consensus amongst schools is that of the 4 events, students in Colombia were the most prepared and business school-ready, however many have spoken of their desire to see more Peruvian and Brazilian students enter their program”.
Of the trip, VanderMeer said: "We've also been travelling with a really friendly and diverse group of business school colleagues. There is a great choice of schools for students to meet: ESADE in Spain, INSEAD and HEC in France, RSM and Duisenberg in Netherlands, Vlerick in Belgium, La Trobe in Australia, ESMT and EBS in Germany and Cranfield in the UK. It's also a lot of fun to be able to come to Sao Paulo, the hometown of my good friend and colleague Leonardo Andrade ...who by the way speaks 8 languages"
