W.P Carey students can choose to explore potential careers or industries on an outreach trip where they visit companies such as Google, Chevron, Facebook, Neutrogena, HP and Visa. Students gain a firsthand understanding of how legislation informs business strategy through W.P. Carey's course in Washington, D.C. According to W.P. The curriculum includes 36 hours of core courses and 12 hours of electives. The faculty, core curriclum, and several of the elective courses are the same across all of W.P. Carey's MBA programs. Online content is delivered through the Blackboard course management system, which allows students to interact one-on-one or in groups or teams. Recorded video/audio and apps are used to capture materials for students who travel or who want flexibility in the repetition of information to meet their own learning styles. Online labs via publishers and simulations (based on course) are available for experiential learning. The W. P. Carey School is one of the few U.S. online MBA programs that allow you to earn your MBA degree with an area of emphasis in finance, international business, marketing, or supply chain management. The program has a 92.3% completion rate.
