Launched in 1996, the Euro MBA program is run by a consortium of 6 European universities and business Schools: AUDENCIA Nantes School of Management, France; EADA - Escuela de Alta Direccion y Administracion, Barcelona, Spain; HHL - Leipzig Graduate School of Management; IAE Aix Graduate School of Management, Aix-en-Provence, France; Kozminski University, Warsaw, Poland; Maastricht University School of Business and Economics, Maastricht, the Netherlands; and Open Universiteit Nederland, Heerlen, the Netherlands. Euro MBA instructors are full-time or part-time faculty at the Consortium institutions.

The Euro-MBA program is a blended MBA program which combines distance learning with residential weeks. The program consists of a 4-day orientation, 6 residential weeks in locations throughout Europe, ten core distance business learning modules and a Master’s Thesis. Online class content is delivered through bulletin boards, simulations and, online labs. Students use an online course database to access information about the objectives of the course, what is expected of them and up-to-date reading materials. In-person attendance requirements include orientation, exams, and residencies. Students engage with one another through face-to-face meetings during the residential weeks. The electronic learning environment is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. Real-time email and chat support is available during office hours and when needed out-of-hours by appointment. Other online support services available to students include: academic advising, digitized library materials, and mentoring. Euro-MBA participants have a full-time job which they combine with the studies. Most graduates have made a major career move as the result of completing the Euro-MBA program. Some of the top functional/industry roles for graduates are Operational Director at an oil and gas company, Deputy General Director at a pharmaceutical company, and Global Purchasing Director at an automotive company. Starting salaries range between EUR40,000-60,000.
