Distance Learning Program Description
Launched in 2005, Aberdeen’s online program uses the same course content, materials, and subject specialists as the on-campus program. Second-year students are required to attend a ten-day on-campus leadership workshop. In addition to core and specialist modules, students have to complete a double-module in strategic management and a dissertation. Online courses are taught within the Campus Moodle learning environment which incorporates group email, discussion boards, web broadcasting, and Skype conferencing. Additional online MBA options are an online MBA in Information Management and an MBA in Oil and Gas Management offered in conjunction with Curtin University in Perth, Australia. The program lasts 2 years and 8 months.
